Summer camp for children with disabilities

Description:
The project seeks creation an atmosphere for disabled individuals and their families where they will feel not segregated and
will feel the real love and friendship. The main objective of the project is to organize the recreation of the children with multiple
disabilities during eight days in summer thus contributing to their integration in the society.
For parents the camp has a very big role as they have been always thinking that their child is not able to interact with
regular society members and that drives them into depression. But here they see one more time that it is not so, that their
children have friends and it is so usual. They try to keep that attitude even after the camp.
Goal :
The main goal of the project is to create an atmosphere for disabled individuals and their families where they will feel not
segregated and will feel the real love and friendship.
Objectives:
The objective of the project is to organize the recreation of Faith and Light members in summer thus contributing to
their integration in the society.
Activities:
The 8-day camping project along with many other also includes the following activities:
- Sharing Time (communication time)
- Games and exercises (physical and intellectual activities for all participants.)
- Fiesta (group presentation of songs or other performances)
- Visit to Sevan Lake
Beneficiaries:
70 people in total will participate in the camp. Among those: 32 disabled individuals, 25 volunteers (assisting and
interacting with children), 13 parents (volunteering to help in organization of camp).
