LORI FOCAL POINTS
Since 1997 Armenian Caritas BNGO works in Lori region, which is a strategic geographical area for
the organization. There are two Focal Points: one in Vanadzor city and the second one in Tashir. The
main interventions in this region where implemented in collaboration with locally based NGOs in Vanadzor:
such as Khachvogh Ughiner (Crossing Roads),
"Social and Psychological Development Center" NGO and Arajentats (Progress) NGO.
Lori region is in the North of the republic
and is the third largest region by its territory in the republic and the second by its population number (after Yerevan city).
The Focal points in Vanadzor and Tashir cities provide guidance to Head Office about the intervention
areas in Lori region and in cooperation with other local organizations realize different projects to assist the
vulnerable population and structures of the region in grass root level.
